Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 2026

Formal Legal TermsThe "Plain English" Version

1. Digital License (Buyers)

Upon purchase, the platform and its respective vendors grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the digital assets for personal, classroom, or homeschooling use only.

You can use what you buy for yourself, your kids, or your classroom, but you cannot resell the files or share them publicly.

2. No-Refund Policy

Due to the instant accessibility and digital nature of the downloadable items, all marketplace sales are final. Immediate download availability constitutes full delivery of service.

Because files are delivered to your device instantly, we cannot 'take them back.' Therefore, all sales are final and non-refundable.

3. Content Ownership & Copyright (Sellers)

Sellers must maintain full legal ownership or necessary commercial rights to all assets uploaded. EdCommerce maintains a zero-tolerance policy for copyright infringement. Infringing content will be removed immediately.

Sellers must absolutely own the rights to everything they post. Uploading stolen work or copyrighted content without permission is strictly banned.

4. Marketplace Fees & Revenue Split

EdCommerce deducts an administrative marketplace fee of 6.5% plus a flat ₱5.00 processing charge on every line-item completed order prior to updating vendor earnings balances.

When a seller makes a sale, our system takes a small platform cut (6.5% + ₱5.00) to keep the servers and payment checkouts running cleanly.

5. Account Deactivation & Balance Forfeiture

EdCommerce reserves the right to issue warnings or permanently deactivate seller accounts for policy violations, marketplace fraud, or persistent copyright claims. Severe violations may result in the forfeiture of pending earnings.

If a seller breaks the rules, commits fraud, or receives copyright strikes, we can disable their dashboard and freeze their pending balance.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users are prohibited from attempting to circumvent digital rights management (DRM), scraping site data, abusing platform infrastructure, or sharing account credentials with unauthorized third parties.

Don't try to hack our checkout, scrape our product files, or share your account credentials with other people.
