Getting started

Getting Approved

Anyone can apply to sell on ED Commerce. Applying is free, and so is listing. An admin looks at each Seller application. Once you are approved, you are a Seller and can start adding Listings.

Apply

  1. Open Become a Seller.
  2. Enter your full name and your email address.
  3. Choose Submit Application.
  4. If you are not signed in, we make an account for you with that email address and send it a 6-digit code. Enter the code and choose Verify & Submit.

If you already have an account, sign in first. Your application then uses your account's email address, and the form shows it locked.

You can apply once with each email address. If the form says an application has already been submitted, you have one waiting: check it in the Seller Hub.

While you wait

  • Your application is Pending until an admin decides.
  • You can't add Listings yet. Selling tools open up when you are approved.
  • See where your application stands at any time in the Seller Hub. Choose Refresh account status to check for a decision.

Hearing the outcome

We email you as soon as an admin decides, whether you are approved or not.

  • Approved: you are a Seller. The Seller Hub opens up, with your Seller pages: My Listings, Sales, Payouts and more. If it still says Pending, choose Refresh account status.
  • Not approved: you can't sell for now. If you think it is a mistake, or want to know why, contact us and we will take another look. A second application from the same email address is not accepted.

The rules once you sell

  • Only sell work that is yours to sell. You keep the rights to your work.
  • Stolen content, or work that copies someone else's (unchanged commercial graphics or another person's designs, for example), earns a warning.
  • Repeated or serious breaks of the rules close your Seller account, and any earnings not yet paid out are lost.

Read the seller terms before your first Listing.
