Listing a File

A Digital Listing sells a file: a reviewer, a module, a worksheet pack, a slide deck. Buyers see it labelled a Digital download, and they get the file the moment they pay.

You need to be an approved Seller first. See Getting Approved.

Add a Listing

  1. Open My Listings and choose Add a product.
  2. Choose the Create Product tab.
  3. Fill in the parts below.
  4. Choose Create product. Your Listing is saved as a Draft and waits for Review.

Under Placement, Product type is already set to Digital: a file delivered after payment. Leave it. It can't be changed once the Listing is made.

Details

  • Name: what it is, in the words a Buyer would search for, like "Grade 10 Algebra Practice Pack".
  • URL slug: the end of your Listing's link. Leave it blank and we make one from the name. Changing it later breaks any link you have already shared.
  • Description: what is inside, who it is for, and how many pages. The buttons above the box add bold, lists and headings.
  • Price (PHP): numbers only, like 499. See Fees for what you keep.

Files

Product file

The file the Buyer gets after paying. Every Digital Listing needs one.

  • Up to 500 MB: PDF, documents, spreadsheets, slides, images, audio, video or ZIP.
  • Selling several files together? Put them in one ZIP.
  • It is stored privately, with no public link. Only Buyers who paid for it, you, and the admins who review it can download it.
  • Each download is a fresh link that expires within minutes, so a shared link can't be passed around.

Preview file

Optional. A sample a Buyer can open before paying: a few pages, a cut-down slide deck, a short clip. A Listing without one has no Preview button.

  • Up to 50 MB. It can't be an SVG image: save it as a PNG, JPG or PDF instead.
  • Anyone can open and save your Preview, and it is shown exactly as you upload it. Make it a sample, never the whole file.

The Preview is a file. The Gallery is the pictures on your Listing's page. They are not the same, and a Listing can have both.

Pictures

  • Thumbnail: the one picture that stands for your Listing on product cards and in search results.
  • Gallery: up to 10 photos or videos a Buyer swipes through on your Listing's page.

Making Your Thumbnail and Gallery covers sizes and what to show.

Sub-category

Under Placement, choose the Sub-category that fits best. It is how Buyers who browse by subject find your Listing.

Keep Active ticked. A published Listing that isn't Active is hidden from the store.

Review

  • A new Listing is a Draft. Only you can see it.
  • A super admin reviews every Listing before it goes live. There is no Publish button for you to press: once your Listing is approved, it is published and appears in the store and on your Shop.
  • My Listings shows whether each Listing is a Draft or Published.
  • Archived hides a Listing from the store and keeps it for your records.

Changing a published Listing

Open My Products and choose Edit next to the Listing.

  • Replacing the Product file sends your Listing back to Review. Buyers keep getting the approved file until the new one is approved.
  • The product type can't be changed. To sell the same thing as a parcel, archive this Listing and make a new one.
